This however takes time because we are all a work in progress on self discovery journey and we find it easier to seek people who mirror what we would love to see in ourselves thus the need for value based connections. Once people can see what they won’t want to miss out on, they will certainly follow up with the decision to keep a tab on your progress.
Find a balance between your real life and how you report the events of your life journey. Tell compelling stories and be yourself. it pays to be real and consistent. The internet never forgets. it is easier if you find purpose first however.
Check the current trends
When sailing, it is always good to have the wind on your back. Likewise, on social media, join the trend and the platform will effortlessly project you in front of millions of users. It will be like getting free advertising for your product or yourself.
Use multimedia
It is a fact that posts with video or visuals get more traction on social media. Not everyone is in the food business and can post attractive photographs of mouth-watering dishes or cooking videos, but with some creativity, you can find the right multimedia post that will attract readers and help start a dialogue.
Be regularly active
You cannot expect overnight success in your social media campaigns. Neither can you achieve miraculous results by just posting occasionally? To make the most use of social media platforms, it is necessary that you are regularly active.
Pay attention to customer service
Don’t forget that your social media is essentially a platform for interacting and serving your customers. Just posting funny quotes or pictures and videos will not help your business if you aren’t proactively engaging with your customers, fulfilling their demands, and attending to their complaints..
Try to post once a day;
Behind the scenes- making music snippets of tracks, pre-gigs, during gigs, post-gigs Regram stuff, stuff you like (other artists/ non music stuff)
Network with other artists you admire (Artists at the top of their game, Artists with the same level of followers as you, try get to know them.) When putting out music ask would they RT / Regram your new tracks and you’ll do the same for them. Everyone is in it together.
